On the Beam”
The Training theme of the 84thFrom WW2 Training , prior to deployment in Europe 1944
“The infantry rifle platoons, aggressively led, will seize the terrain held by the enemy and will capture or destroy its defenders; all firepower of the division -from light machine guns to the medium artillery -supported (when available) by corps artillery, tanks and bombardment aviation will, by its volume and accuracy, insure the success of the rifle platoons”
