12th ARMY GROUP

WAC DETACHMENT

WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of women, located in middle and southwest Missouri dedicated to the preservation of the memory of the sacrifice and service of women that served with the Women's Army Corp (WAC) in WW2.

This unit was specifically formed to enable any female interested in doing a WWII Living History impression.  Members of the WAC in WWII performed everything from Clerical Duties, to Motor Mechanic, to working in an Army Hospital.   Here you can receive help from women that have done WAC and ANC (Army Nurse Corp) impressions for years.  We can help you develop a Living History Impression regardless of your previous knowledge of the Women's Army Corp.  This is a distinct advantage for our new members.  If you have previous experience in Living History,  Join a team of women that are serious about preserving history.

HOW TO JOIN

Look through our pages.  If you feel you are interested in Joining the 12th AG, WAC, or if you have any questions, contact us by email, we will do everything we can to help you on your way to a fun and exciting experience.
